Continuous School Improvement Goals

  • By June 2016, all students will increase communication skills through the use of the targeted 6+1 Traits of Organization and Word Choice to write clearly and effectively across the curriculum as measured by selected system-wide (Terra Nova 3 Language Arts subtest) and local assessments (Writing Prompts and 6+1 Traits of Writing Rubrics).

  • By June 2016, all students will improve their problem solving and reasoning abilities in all content areas by evaluating arguments, generalizing solutions, explaining answers and connecting skills to solve real world problems, as measured by an increase in percent of students by grade level in the top two quarters according to the Terra Nova 3rd Edition Mathematics and Science Subtests and percent of students at or above the standard on selected local assessments (Grades PK-2).
