DDESS Area Service Center Procurement Division
DDESS Procurement serves as the procurement office for the
DDESS Area Service Center and DDESS districts/schools without
local procurement support. We also serve as the Agency
Program Coordinator (APC) for the DDESS Government Purchase
Card (GPC) program.
Procurement services
- Respond to general procurement questions and requests for assistance.
- Manage purchasing for DDESS
ASC and Districts/Schools without local procurement support.
- Liaison with HQ DoDEA Procurement for open market:
- Award of services over $100K
- Award of equipment/supplies over $5.5M
- Award new requirements
- Open Market
- Services under $100K
- Equipment/supplies under $5.5M
- Delivery Orders against
DoDEA, GSA and Other Agency Contracts
- Administer contracts awarded by HQ DoDEA and DDESS
Procurement Offices
DDESS Government Purchase Card Program Management and Integrity
Assurance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures,
and regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation
(FAR)
- Conduct purchase records reviews.
- Provide initial and annual refresher training to all
GPC personnel
- Provide advice to charge card users
- Process card applications.
