Stewart, Georgia, was selected for Washington D.C.'s National Gallery of Art's 2006 Teacher Institute: Dutch Art in the Golden Age. She was selected to represent the entire southeast region of the United States, from K-12 applicants of all subjects, and from public, private and parochial schools. The six-day seminar, Aug. 7-12, will explore Dutch art of the 17th century as it relates to the studio arts and art history, world history and social studies.
