Deck the Halls and Family Read Along
On December 17th, 2015, CC Pinckney will host "Deck the Halls with Student Work and Data" and a Family Read Along. Deck the Halls will take place from 12:15 to 12:45 followed by the Family Read Along from 12:45-1:20. Please click here for further details.

New Department of Defense Education Activity Global IT Service Desk
DoDEA IT is pleased to announce the introduction of a new worldwide IT Service Desk ticketing solution for employees that will replace the existing Helpdesk ticket system. Implementation of the new service desk solution will take place starting on July 7th, 2014 with the older systems being decommissioned at the end of the Summer recess. The new system will provide all DoDEA users with a new and improved, user-friendly ticket submission interface that will enhance accuracy and expedite turn-around time. CONUS Education Options Assessment (CEOA)
The Department has initiated a study, CONUS Education Options Assessment (CEOA) by the National Defense Research Institute (RAND). The objective of the study is to recommend options that most effectively balance cost, quality and implementation considerations. For additional information please click here.

21st Century Memo
DoDEA has embarked upon a process to best define 21st Century Schools which takes into consideration innovation in education, curriculum delivery, use of technology, and the growing expectations for sustainability and energy conservation. DoDEA is seeking ideas from students, teachers, parents and other community members to help shape school facilities that will support 21st Century learning requirements. Pandemic Influenza Information
GradeSpeed Parent Connection
---DoDEA implemented GradeSpeed in its 4th-6th grade classrooms worldwide during the 2008-2009 school year. GradeSpeed will give parents online access to their children’s grades and attendance from anyplace in the world with internet access. An introductory GradeSpeed Brochure will be sent home with students. The Parent Connection User Guide is available for downloading. You can access the GradeSpeed Parent Portal here.
