What's Happening in Physical Education?

Reminders

FitnessGram testing for 4-6th grade will begin the week of May 27th-June 4th. 6th grade girls Knock-out finals will be held during recess on May 13th. 6th grade boys finals will be at recess on May 16th weather premitting. 4th and 5th grade boys and girl finals will be the week of May 19th thru 23rd weather permitting.

Look at what we're doing in PE this month!

Capture the Flag is our final unit in PE this school year. This game really tests their ability to work as a team to be successfull. Every team menber reguardless of ability can play important roles in this game.

A Look Ahead

With summer fast approaching please keep you child active. Childhood obesity is at a thirty year high.The best times for them to be acvtive outside during the summer are early morning and evening. Keep them hydrated and protected from the sun with hats and a sunscreen of at least 30 SPF.

3. Always wear proper shoes and clothing for PE
4. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
5. Listen when someone speaks.
6. Good Sportsmanship is a must
