Seeking Feedback on New Attendance PolicyAt the beginning of the school year, DoDEA introduced a new attendance policy similar to those found in most school districts in the U.S. The intent of the policy is to strike a fair and consistent balance between the academic needs of students and the unique needs of military families. To gauge the levels of awareness, effectiveness and satisfaction with the new DoDEA attendance policy, DDESS/DoDDS-Cuba has developed a voluntary, anonymous poll for all stakeholders—students, parents, employees, military leaders, etc. The online poll runs through May 31 and takes only five minutes to complete. The data from the poll will be analyzed to determine if refinements and improvements are needed. We’re listening so please tell us what you think of the new DoDEA attendance policy by clicking onto this link>> https://www.research.net/s/789HM97

*Reminder: School's Traffic Pattern *Parents and Community Members, Due to traffic/safety concerns in and around our school during dismissal, a plan has been developed to ensure that IMBODEN and MILLS are clear of traffic. Cars will no longer be allowed to wait on IMBODEN STREET OR MILLS ROAD to enter the traffic circle in front of the school. We will continue to fill the traffic circle prior to dismissal. Once the circle is full, all traffic will be routed to line up on Commissary Way. When the traffic circle is clear, ONLY vehicles from Commissary Way will be allowed to turn in to the circle for traffic to move more freely on IMBODEN during dismissal. PreK parents, as well as others, should park behind the school, walk across Commissary Way to pick up your child(ren). There will be a new crosswalk and a crossing guard, provided by the military police, to assist in this process. Click onto the map below to view and print a copy of the new traffic patteren.
