Students      The Fort Knox Community Schools are a part of the Kentucky District, one of five districts in the Department of Defense Domestic Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools. DDESS is a division of the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), serving children of military families around the globe. The mission of the Fort Knox Community Schools is to provide an exemplary education that inspires and prepares all DoDEA students for success in a dynamic, global environment.
We employ the process of Total Quality Education throughout our school system, which results in growth and improvement through the use of data, stakeholder involvement, and consensus building. Student writing in class Report Card Update

Mastery Learning, a key concept embedded in every school, offers students opportunities for success through reteaching and retesting. Earned success for every student is the goal, and our parents are key to all efforts and successes.
