The second dose of H1N1 vaccine will be offered to Fort Knox elementary school students ages nine and under in early December.
“These clinics are only for those students who received the first H1N1 vaccination at their school,” said the FKCS Head Nurse. Each school is contacting affected students.
The in-school clinics will begin at 10 a.m. each day as follows:
Van Voorhis – Tuesday, Dec. 1
Mudge – Wednesday, Dec. 2
Kingsolver – Tuesday, Dec. 8
Pierce – Wednesday, Dec. 9
The head nurse said, “Once more vaccine is available, Ireland Army Hospital and Clinic will have a Flu Clinic with extended hours.” To get the latest vaccine availability information, she said parents could call the TriCare appointment number (800-493-9602) or the Hardin County Health Department (270-769-1601).
