Technology Program
Fort Knox schools are fully supported by significant hardware, software, and technology staff at both the district and the school levels.
Highlights of computer technology in each school:
- A high performance local area network; users can access programs and files on servers and share devices, such as laser printers;
- A lab; the larger schools have two computer labs;
- Computers connected to the Internet in every lab, classroom and information center.
Highlights of audiovisual and television technology in every school:
- A digital network that brings Kentucky Educational Television programs into the classroom;
- Closed circuit and cable television programs;
- Numerous televisions, VCRs, DVD players, and projectors.
