The mission at Van Voorhis Elementary School is to provide a holistic learning environment where the military child is nurtured, challenged and inspired to reach excellence in academics and character.

 

Van Voorhis was fully accredited by NCA CASI in 2008.  We were specifically commended for our exemplary efforts to involve teachers in the understanding and use of data, purposefully planning and providing an extensive number of support services for our stakeholders, and most importantly, for providing a warm, welcoming environment that is safe and highly conducive to student learning.
