Our Military Partners - NCOA

crest of NCOA

We are proud to be associated with the US Army NCO Academy, as they sponsor and partner Walker Intermediate School. Their mission which ... "develop(s) adaptive, self-confident leaders..solve complex problems, while operating in a full spectrum and contemporary operating environment.." is similar to our own- as we both are building "the future force".

They have given of their time and labor at various times during the school year. NCOA- we salute you!

Of course, they also spent some time with our Walker Wildcat.

NOCA soldiers helped dispense water, set-up, and ensure safe street crossing.

We were fortunate to be given computer stations for a new full lab and two mini-labs. NCOA to the rescue as they helped unload new equipment, tear-down the old lab, and move to a DX location. This was a man-sized job, and they were on the job. The students were thrilled with the new labs, as well as with the presence of the soldiers. Soldier breakin gdown PC Soldiers off loading PCs
Not only did they help detach old equipment, and carry new equipment, but they loaded up the old pcs and drove them to our Supply Room.

Later they picked up all the old DX equipment .

What would we have done without them?
