Performing Arts Center
Powers Center

The Powers Alumni Performing Arts Center is a modern, well equipped theater that serves the Fort Knox Community Schools, the Fort Knox community, and the surrounding area. The Powers Center, with a seating capacity of 695, provides extensive arts education programming throughout the academic year for all students. This programming includes theater, music, dance, storytelling, puppetry, and musical productions from regional and nationally recognized groups such as the Lexington Children's Theater, the Louisville Orchestra, and Blue Apple Players. Fort Knox schools present their own musical and dramatic productions. The center also is the site of performances by Fort Knox units such as the 113th Army Band, an annual program celebrating Martin Luther King, Jr., and other cultural events. The Powers Center is the heart of cultural life of Fort Knox Community Schools, Fort Knox, and Hardin County.
