ATTENDANCE
Research in the field of Education has shown that there is a positive link between "time on task" and success in school. Students generally have greater success when they keep good attendance.
If your child must miss school for any reason, please call the school (624-8345) between 6:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. If a child is absent and we have not received a call, our attendance clerk will first call your home and if no answer then a call will be made to the duty number of the military sponsor. These calls are made for the safety and security of the children.
Attendance during any part of a half-day will be recorded as present for that half day. This is also the case in the afternoon. This does not mean a tardy will not be recorded. (See Medical and Dental Appointments Section)
If the child is late, you and your child MUST repor to the office upon arriving at school.
