BICYCLES

Students may ride their bikes to school as long as they are very careful and observe the bike safety rules. Students must wear a helmet. This is a Post regulation. Emphasize to the children that they should not be racing, weaving in and out of parked cars, riding another child on the seat or handlebars, or riding in the middle of the road disregarding moving vehicles. Bicycles are not t be ridden on the sidewalks at school. Students are to ride slowly or walk their bikes on the school ground.  Bicycles must be parked in the bike racks, located near the Pre-K playground. We encourage locking the bicycles during the day.
