CURRICULUM AND ASSESSMENT

Mudge School offers a wide variety of educational experiences. In addition to academics in the classroom, students in Grades K-3 are also provided music, art, physical education, and computer programs. We try hard to meet the needs of each child. One of the ways we identify these needs is through assessment.

Grade Three is given a standardized assessment in the early Spring. The CTBS/Terra Nova is given throughout the DoDEA schools in Grades 3-12. Grade Three is the accountability year. Parents are encouraged to attend "Lunch and Learn" sessions given by the principal each year to learn about the School Improvement Plan, New Curriculum Developments and Standardized Tests.
