Our Vision
Bitz Intermediate School, in partnership with military families and the community, will educate, challenge and equip all students to be motivated, healthy, lifelong learners and productive global citizens

Our Goals

Goal 1: Reading Comprehension

By June 2012, all students will increase reading comprehension by using strategies to find important information that will allow them to understand the deeper meaning of the text across the curriculum. Progress will be measured by the selected system-wide and local assessments.

Goal 2: Problem Solving
By June 2012, all students will increase problem solving skills across the curriculum by using the UPSE (Understand, Plan, Solve, Explain) model. Students will understand the problem by identifying important information and key words, make a plan, solve the problem, and explain the reasonableness of the solution. Progress will be measured by the selected system-wide and local assessments.

Our Mission
To provide an exemplary education that inspires and prepares all DoDEA students for success in a dynamic, global environment
