The Department of Defense has initiated a study, CONUS Education Options Assessment (CEOA) by the National Defense Research Institute (RAND). The objective of the study is to recommend options that most effectively balance cost, quality and implementation considerations. Read More....

Next month is the Month of the Military Child! PTO is celebrating with special events for our Military Children. The school will have plans to celebrate as well.

Heroes Goals for Community School Improvement

Heroes Elementary School has chosen two goals to focus our efforts on as we continually look at the data that shows how our students are doing and ways to continually improve achievement.

Goal 1: By June 2014, all students will increase reading comprehension across the curriculum as measured by system-wide and local assessments.

Goal 2: By June 2014, all students will increase proficiency in number sense in operations as measured by system wide and local assessments.
