STUDENT REGISTRATION AT CAMP LEJEUNE DEPENDENTS SCHOOLS

Children who will be 4-years-old on or before October 16 are eligible for the half-day Preschool Program at Delalio Elementary (living in housing at MCAS-NR), Tarawa Terrace I Primary School (living in family housing in Tarawa Terrace I and II and Midway Park), and the new Johnson Primary School (living in family housing aboard MCB-CL). Children who will be 5-years-old on or before October 16 are eligible for Kindergarten. All students residing in Camp Lejeune Family Housing in grades 6, 7 and 8 attend Brewster Middle School, while all students in grades 9-12 will attend Lejeune High School . Primary and Elementary level students will register at the district school as determined by their family housing address.

REQUIREMENTS AT INITIAL REGISTRATION include:

the child's certified birth certificate; immunization record; social security card; family housing voucher; and sponsor's PCS orders.

New students enrolling in grades 1 through 12 should provide the name and address of the previous school attended along with the final report card indicating the grade level assignment for SY 2005-2006.

Parents of new students may visit the school office to register daily from 0800 – 1500, Monday through Friday. If you are unsure of your district school, please contact the Office of the Superintendent for confirmation, 451-2461.

SPECIAL NOTE: New students in grades PreK-2 living in family housing aboard Camp Lejeune will attend the new Johnson Primary School.
