SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PLAN

Math: All students will improve their ability to solve problems in math using instructional strategies.  The targeted skills are used to accurately solve problems through a range of strategies. 

Reading:All students will improve reading comprehension across the curriculum using instructional strategies in reading .  The targeted skill will help students interact with text to construct meaning and make connections to their world. 

Progress will be measured through use of system wide and local assessments.

1. Analyze text using a variety of Graphic Organizers to support reading comprehension.
2. Retell and summarize text to support reading comprehension.
3. Engage PK-2 students in daily awareness activities.

Math:
1. Communicate problem solving through verbal, symbolic, and concrete representations.
