Concert Schedule
Advanced & Intermediate Bands November 10, 2009 8:15 a.m. Patriotic Show December 10, 2009 1:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. Winter Concert February 24, 2010 1:00 p.m. Festival Concert (For select students only) May 13, 2010 time TBA Spring Concert Beginning Band December 10, 2009 1:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. Winter Concert May 13, 2010 time TBA Spring Concert All concert dress is: Boys: black pants, Brewster Band Shirt, dark shoes & socks Girls: black pants/skirt, Brewster Band Shirt, dark shoes Please, no skirt lengths above the knee for girls and no T-shirts for anyone. If a student is not properly dressed for the concert, they will not play. Please refer to the handbook for more information about concert grading.

Practice Records
Practice records are due every Friday and should include a parent signature. NO SIGNATURE=NO CREDIT! Practice records count for 20% of a child's final quarter grade. Late practice records will not be accepted after the first quarter. Minimum minutes practiced are as follows:
Practice only on the days you eat! Advanced Band: 210 minutes (30 minutes per day) Intermediate Band: 140 minutes (20 minutes per day) Beginning Band: 100 minutes (about 15 minutes per day) Click here to get help with practicing at home Click here for a video about helping your child with practicing |
