I am very excited to begin rehearsals with the Brewster Show Choir Wednesday afternoon (October 7, 2009).  Students will rehearse every Wednesday unless otherwise specified*.  Rehearsal times will run from 2:30pm until 3:30pm.  I look forward to working with your talented and dedicated children!

Notification of absences from rehearsals needs to be given at least 24 hours in advance.  We are practicing many songs as well as some difficult dances, therefore it is important that all rehearsals are attended by all Show Choir members.  Two unexcused absences are allowed before you are asked to withdraw from the group. 

Also, attendance and participation in the following performances are required in order to be a member of the group:

• Patriotic Concert (Optional): November 7, 2009- 1-1:30pm; Jacksonville Mall (bus riders must meet at Brewster Middle School no later than 12:10pm- the bus will leave at 12:15pm)
• Patriotic Show (Optional):November 10, 2009- 8:15am; BMS Gym
• Winter Arts Festival: December 10, 2009- 7pm; BMS Gym
• Spring Play (Charlotte's Web): April 29, 2010- 6:30pm; BMS Gym
• Spring Arts Festival: May 13, 2010- 7pm; BMS Gym

Please fill out the permission slip and return.  We know that your son or daughter is not the only one with talent, so if you would like to lend your artistic abilities to the show, we gladly welcome your input!  Simply choose an option on the lower section of this sheet!!

* There may be a need to add an extra rehearsal near the time of the concert in order to solidify notes or dance moves.  Students will be notified in advance of this practice, and will be expected to attend.
