DoDEA Schools to Adopt Common Core State Standards
Adopting the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) will benefit DoDEA's highly mobile student population which moves frequently between public schools and DoDEA schools. Learn more in the DoDEA press release.

DoDEA recently released a revised Be Here! Toolkit to support our attendance policy for our schools. The Toolkit contains brochures, facts sheets and research to help parents, students, teachers and administrators better understand DoDEA’s attendance policy and the importance school attendance plays in students’ academic and personal success.
Find more information about the attendance policy: http://www.dodea.edu/attendance/docs/AttendancePolicy.pdf
The toolkit is available for download online through DoDEA’s website at: http://www.dodea.edu/attendance/index.cfm
PLEASE NOTE: Maxwell AFB Elementary/Middle School is a DoDEA school. Living in permanent base housing is a requirement for registration.
Please remember that there is a 15 MPH speed limit in all housing areas on base. Also, for those of you who are dropping off students, please do so at the carpool lane on Magnolia Boulevard rather than in the circle at the school's front entrance. After dropping off your student, please proceed to the end of Magnolia and follow the circle around in order to turn around. Do not turn around in the parking area adjacent to the drop-off lane or at the crosswalk.
Thank you for making every effort to keep our children safe.
