NY & VA School Boards

Each of our three communities has an elected School Board with members from that respective site. The School Board plays an important role in providing input from the community to the Administration.  NY & VA appreciates the contributions these people make to our schools and system.

The boards do not address items specific to individual students and we ask that the Chain-of-Command from the classroom teacher to the School Board be followed. Federal law prohibits the boards from making decisions regarding the disbursement of funds or personnel actions.

Board meetings are open to the public. For specific information on School Board agendas, please contact any member of your School Board. Your local school can provide you with contact information for members.
