Character Counts is a character education program that focuses on one character trait each month.  Each month children are introduced to the character word through a guidance lesson and school wide assembly.  This is then followed by integrated classroom activities for the word of the month.  Parents are given a monthly take home sheet filled with ideas and suggestions for each word.
