  • We introduced the pronouns: el/ellos, ella/ellas
  • ¿Quién es ...? - This presentation reviews the pronouns el/ellos, ella/ellas using famous people!
  • 2nd grade went to the computer lab to review:
  • We introduced saludos vs. despedidas by reading a story about el loro.
  • We learned about the loro's amigos: el perro, el mono, la tortuga, la abeja.  They all live in el bosque.

  • Students are working very hard this week on creating a wanted poster in Spanish for El Lobo Feroz (The Big Bad Wolf)

El Día de los Muertos (the Day of the Dead), is a holiday (or festival) which is celebrated in Mexico, Ecuador, Guatemala, and other areas in Central and South America populated with the Latino ethnic background. El Día de los Muertos is also celebrated in areas of the United States, such as California, Texas, and many others, in which the Mexican/American heritage exists. This is a time to celebrate, remember and prepare special foods in honor of those who have departed.
