Second Grade NEWS/ Reminder-
No School Nov. 25th-27 for Thanksgiving Holiday.
Look at what we're learning!
Reading-
We will continue Guided Reading and students will use their Reader's Notebooks. Each group will focus on specific reading skills using books at their independent or instructional reading level. Some of the KEY components to our work in Guided Reading will be COMPREHENSION, FLUENCY, ACCURACY, and PHONICS SKILLS.
Next week, we will be reading CIRCUS GIRL in our Literacy Place book as a whole group and focusing on the key strategy of SETTING.
