Counselor's Clubs

The counselor sponsors several school “clubs” having to do with personal issues.

Newcomers' Club

Once a month the counselor meets with new students to help them become better oriented to the school and community and to help them feel like they are fitting in. In addition to new students, the counselor meets monthly with new parents for an orientation. At this meeting, parents are presented with some information that is not necessarily in the Parent Handbook. This also gives parents an opportunity to ask questions of the principal and nurse as well as the counselor. A tour of the facility is given.

New Adventures Club

The counselor meets monthly with students who will be departing for another location.
