Dear Parents,
Thank you so much for the wonderful Halloween “buddies” the children returned. They are so cute we can hardly wait to see the real thing! The “buddies” have been displayed in the hallway for everyone to enjoy. Thanks for sharing them with us.
The Halloween Parade will be held on Friday, October 30th at 9:00 a.m. Parents will need to go to the left bus gate, show identification and move to the grass adjoining the bus driveway. Children will not be allowed to go into the crowds for hugs and kisses. Parents will exit back through the gate to leave the school. Hope you are able to come and see the parade. Remember to send your child to school in his/her costume on Friday, Oct 30th. Costumes that slip over school clothing are the easiest. Send a bag with your child’s name and we will return the costume for trick or treating. It is easiest if the small accessories are left at home.
Again, thanks for your help!
Thanks in advance to all parents that are sending items for our Halloween fun. We cannot do the fun things without your help. If you were not contacted this time, don’t worry----Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner!
Things to remember:
- Oct 30 Children wear costumes to school
- Nov 3 Wear Silly Socks and Favorite T-shirt
- Nov 11 Veteran’s Day NO School
- Nov 25-27 Thanksgiving Holiday
HELP: Our lost and found box is getting full. PLEASE label all jackets, sweaters and other clothing your child may remove.
REPORT CARDS: Thank you to those who returned the signed report card envelope.
We will work on the vocabulary words you will find on the back of the language check sheet. Please continue to practice these words along with the letters and sounds at home daily. Have a safe and happy Halloween! POD 6 Teachers
