2nd Grade STEAM Page

Language Arts - We just completed Unit 5 in Reading Streets. The theme of our last unit is "Traditions."  The students will continue to hone their skills and strategies to become strong, fluent readers.

Spelling Words: See the Spelling City website for weekly spelling lists.

Math: We continue to  work on mastering our math facts for both speed and accuracy. The IXL.com website provides opportunities for practice. Students may access this site from home with their own user name and the "Student1" password.

Science/Engineering: Our last unit of the year is based on air, weather, and mechanical engineering. The students are now well educated in the Engineering Design Process and approach problem solving in a creative, systematic manner.
