Safety and Security
Safety and Security- Logistics is responsible for security and safety of buildings, grounds and sites and for the safekeeping of all equipment, materials and supplies used for operation and maintenance. It is the responsibility of all government employees to adhere to OSHA regulations and requirements. The School Administrator is responsible for activity in his or her respective school facilities. Logistics personnel will perform routine inspections of buildings and grounds to determine need for repairs, general maintenance and construction needs. We will schedule service and maintenance for fixed fire suppression systems located in kitchen facilities; work closely with base Environmental Control to insure an asbestos controlled/lead free environment. Logistics Support personnel will serves as the base safety liaison for coordinating Safety and Security inspections and follows up on any discrepancies to ensure correction and compliance with local military and DDESS regulations. |
