Students not eating breakfast should not arrive prior to 7:45

There are two student drop off and pickup points. Look for the red cones near the North and East parking areas. These points are no parking zones.

8:25 Tardy Bell

  • Mon., Tue., Wed., & Fri: 3:05 pm
  • Thursday: 1:50 pm

Normal dismissal procedures will be followed on rainy days. In case of severe weather conditions additional precautionary procedures are described on the Severe Weather page.

  • Monday, October 27th: Brittin Celebrates Making Positve Choices by wearing as much RED as possible!
  • Tuesday, October 28th: I "mustache" you not to be a bully and not to do drugs! (PTO will provide adhesive mustaches for students!)
  • Wednesday, October 29th: We have PRIDE in a bully and drug free school! (Wear blue and yellow to show school pride!)
  • Thursday, October 30th: BES ROCKS bully and and drug free! (PTO will provide "We Rock" ribbons and pencils!)
  • Friday, October 31st: Show your character-Say NO to bullying and drugs! (Dress up as your favoriate book character!)

School Improvement Goals for SY 13-14

Goal 1: A 10% increase of all students will demonstrate proficiency in reading comprehension by 5/24/2014 as measured by the TerraNova 3rd Edition Reading subtest (Grades 3-6) and end of year assessments (Grades PreK-6)

Goal 2: A 10% increase of all students will demonstrate proficiency in communicating mathematical thinking and reasoning in Mathematics by 5/24/2014 as measured by the TerraNova 3rd Edition Mathematics subtest and selected local assessments.
