Media Center iconThe mission of the Brittin Elementary School Information Center is:
(1) to ensure that the students and staff are effective users of ideas and information,
(2) to support the school's instructional focus, and
(3) to promote the use of literature and technology.

The information center is the focal point of the school and it operates on a modified flexible schedule.  Students may check out books, listen to stories, learn information access skills, browse for books and peruse the internet and magazines.

Students in K-2 may check out 1 book, all other grades may check out 2 books for a one-week period.  All items must be returned before new items can be checked out. Special circumstances may require special permission.
